Elgin City have appointed Jim Weir as their new manager following the resignation last week of Barry Wilson after less than 12 months in charge.
Weir, 45, has previously been boss at Montrose, Arbroath and, most recently, Brechin City before leaving Glebe Park in September 2012.
He was a player with Hamilton Accies, Hearts and St Johnstone before moving into management with Montrose in February 2007.
Weir takes charge at Borough Briggs with immediate effect and will make his debut in the dug-out on Tuesday December 2 when Elgin entertain League 2 leaders Arbroath.
City are currently bottom of the table but are only six points outside the promotion play-off places.
