Forfar returned to the top of League 1 with a 3-0 victory over Stenhousemuir at Station Park – their fifth straight home win.
Dale Hilson, Gavin Swankie and Martyn Fotheringham all scored against the Warriors, who had Ciaran Summers sent off early in the second half.
Airdrieonians moved off the foot of the table in style, beating Brechin City 4-0 at the Excelsior Stadium. Scott Fraser, on loan from Dundee United, scored on his debut and David Proctor also struck before half-time. Jim Lister and Nathan Blockley rounded things off after the break.
