Dundee United have signed midfielder Willo Flood on a one-year contract ahead of Friday night's Betfred Cup tie at Arbroath.
The 31-year-old former Manchester City, Cardiff City, Celtic and Middlesbrough player begins his fourth spell at Tannadice after leaving Aberdeen.
He told the club website: "The reason I have come back to United is primarily the manager (Ray McKinnon). Everything he told me of his plans for the club I liked - his ambition, drive and desire convinced me this move would be good for me."
