Forfar have seen off the challenge of East Fife to keep defender Stuart Malcolm at Station Park with manager Dick Campbell also persuading Danny Denholm to return to the club after a season at Livingston.
The experienced Malcolm had been in discussions with the Bayview club however he has agreed to a second season with the Loons.
Winger Denholm is returning for a second stint with Campbell’s side after starring during his first season following his step up from Stirling University two years ago.
The 23 year old, who played in more than 30 games for the Lions, had offers to go to two other League 1 sides however he has opted to return to Forfar.
Campbell said: “I am delighted with these two bits of business. Getting Stuart to stay is good news and I am really looking forward to working with Danny again.”
