Lewis Milne and Josh Peters scored for the visitors before Jordyn Sheerin pulled one back. Berwick's Michael McKenna saw red late on.
 
Second-placed Elgin City suffered a rare home defeat as Arbroath earned a 1-0 win at Borough Briggs thanks to a late goal from on-loan Josh Skelly.
 
Annan Athletic beat Clyde 3-2 at Galabank, with Rabin Omar grabbing the winner eight minutes from time. David McKenna and Darren Ramsay also netted for the hosts, with Peter MacDonald scoring twice for the Bully Wee.
