Four to watch this weekend

There are full cards in the Ladbrokes Premiership and Championship but Scottish Cup replays have reduced the fixtures in Leagues 1 & 2.

There are full cards in the Ladbrokes Premiership and Championship but Scottish Cup replays have reduced the fixtures in Leagues 1 & 2.

Here are four matches to look out for on Saturday...

Partick Thistle v Motherwell - Ladbrokes Premiership
There is plenty at stake at Firhill as Thistle look to build on an impressive November haul of seven points from nine that has moved them to within reach of the top six. However, they are still just two points outside the relegation play-off place in a tight division and a Motherwell victory would see them leapfrog Alan Archibald's team.

Morton v Hibernian - Ladbrokes Championship
Hibernian are three points behind leaders Rangers – who travel to Kirkcaldy to play Raith Rovers - and are unbeaten in the Ladbrokes Championship since losing at Ibrox in August. Alan Stubbs' side head for Greenock to play a Morton team who currently occupy the final play-off place and who have lost just once at home since earning promotion. Their seven league matches at Cappielow in 2015/16 have produced a total of only 10 goals.

Dunfermline Athletic v Brechin City - Ladbrokes League 1
Leaders Ayr United have a Saturday off as their scheduled opponents Cowdenbeath are involved in a Scottish Cup replay so Dunfermline have the opportunity to move to the summit on goal difference if they beat bottom club Brechin. Darren Dods’ City are three points adrift at the foot of the table and were beaten 6-1 by the Pars at Glebe Park on the opening day.

East Stirlingshire v Clyde - Ladbrokes League 2
With leaders Annan Athletic on Scottish Cup duty, Clyde have the chance to go top on goal difference if they can get the better of Craig Tully's side. Bully Wee boss Barry Ferguson was named Ladbrokes League 2 Manager of the Month for November on the back of three straight wins but Shire have picked up 15 of their 16 points at Ochilview, winning five of their seven home games.
