Ahead of the big kick-off in the Ladbrokes Premiership, we take a look back at how things unfolded on the opening weekend in 2013/14:
Partick Thistle 0-0 Dundee United - 02/08/13
The first game of the new SPFL era was a hugely entertaining affair, watched by a bumper Friday night Firhill crowd of 7,822. Both the promoted Jags and Dundee United created several good chances as it somehow ended goalless.
Aberdeen 2-1 Kilmarnock - 03/08/13
Jonny Hayes scored the first ever Scottish Premiership goal after 21 minutes at Pittodrie and Willo Flood doubled the Dons' lead before Kris Boyd pulled one back.
Celtic 2-1 Ross County - 03/08/13
Ross County threatened an upset when Darren Maatsen struck early on but a double from Anthony Stokes - the second with only three minutes left - earned the champions all three points.
Inverness CT 3-0 St Mirren - 03/08/13
Three goals early in the second half saw Caley Thistle claim a comfortable win over Saints in the Highlands. James Vincent broke the deadlock from the penalty spot, Aaron Doran pounced 60 seconds later and Billy McKay rounded things off.
Hibernian 0-1 Motherwell - 04/08/13
Henri Anier came off the bench to score the winner for Well with seven minutes remaining in a Sunday lunchtime clash at Easter Road.
St Johnstone 1-0 Hearts - 04/08/13
Stevie May was the matchwinner with the only goal midway through the second half as Saints came out on top in a Sunday fixture at McDiarmid Park.
