Morton have signed Canadian defender Luca Gasparotto on loan until January from Ladbrokes Championship rivals Falkirk.
The former Rangers player had a previous loan spell at Cappielow and now returns to Greenock to link up with Jim Duffy's squad.
The Morton boss told the club website: “With the long-term injury to Lee Kilday and the fact Thomas O’Ware was injured last week we don’t really have any natural cover.
“We’re a wee bit stretched in the defensive area, so I just felt it was important to get someone in who is good enough to compete when everyone is fit. Luca is more than good enough to go and compete for a first-team place. That’s what you want and he’s been here before.”
