Brian Gilmour has signed a new one-year deal with Ayr United.
The former Rangers midfielder follows defender Martyn Campbell in extending his stay at Somerset Park and manager Ian McCall told the club website: "It’s great to get Gilly signed up for next season as he will be a big part of our plans, playing in a role much further forward from where he has been.”
Meanwhile, goalkeeper David Hutton, midfielder David Robertson and striker Craig Beattie have all been released by the League 1 side.
