Forfar Athletic have stretched their lead at the top to four points after twice hitting back to beat Elgin City 3-2 at Station Park thanks to a Thomas O'Brien double and a Josh Peters goal while Chris McLeish scored twice for the visitors.
 
Arbroath are up to second spot after beating Stirling Albion 5-3 at Gayfield, helped by a hat-trick from Bobby Linn. Josh Skelly and Omar Kader were also on target for the Red Lichties while Stirling scored through a deflected Darren Smith effort, Blair Henderson and Eddie Ferns.
 
There was also an eight-goal thriller at Broadwood as Clyde overcame Cowdenbeath 5-3. Chris Smith and Sean Higgins both bagged doubles and Craig Sives netted an own goal. The Blue Brazil replied through Dean Brett (penalty), Brian Ross and David Gormley's OG.
