Airdrie were delighted to advise that striker John Boyle has been given the all clear to return to training after fears that he had aggravated the knee injury that kept him out of the game for more than a year.
The 27 year old had been missing since March 2013 however he battled back into manager Gary Bollan’s squad and had made 4 substitute appearances at the start of this season before feeling discomfort in the same knee.
Boyle was sent for a scan and received good news with Bollan saying: “It is great news for John and the team that he has been given the all clear. It is great news and now we can get working with him on getting into our team.”
