Alloa Athletic have made midfielder Jim Goodwin their latest signing ahead of the 2016/17 campaign in Ladbrokes League 1.
The 34-year-old former St Mirren and Hamilton Accies player makes the move to the Indodrill Stadium after leaving Saints at the end of 2015/16.
Goodwin told the Alloa website: "People may see this as a shock move because I certainly had a few full-time offers and I could have stayed in the Championship, but I felt this was a great opportunity for me not only to come and work with Jack (Ross), but also because it then allows me to go and pursue some other things outside of football as well."
