Celtic striker Leigh Griffiths has signed a new contract that will keep the Ladbrokes Premiership’s top scorer at Parkhead until 2021.
The former Livingston, Dundee, Wolves and Hibernian forward joined Celtic in January 2014 and has scored 46 goals in 83 appearances, including 19 this season.
The Scotland internationalist told the club website: "It has been a good start to the season but I need to keep it going and I want to break Kris Commons’ record of 32 goals.
“Contract talks were ongoing and I’m happy to finally get it over the line. You don’t really see long deals any more so I’m happy to know where I’m going to be for the next five years."
