Dundee boss Paul Hartley has signed German keeper Arvid Schenk on a short-term deal.
The 25-year-old, previously on the books of Wolfsburg and St Pauli, will provide cover as Kyle Letheren is expected to be out for six to eight weeks through injury.
Scott Bain, brought in from Alloa during the summer, played in the 2-0 home win over Hamilton Accies on Saturday, with youngster Kyle Gourlay on the bench.
