Dundee have signed former Motherwell player Tom Hateley, who has returned to Scotland after two years in Poland with Slask Wroclaw.
The 26-year-old was with Reading in the early part of his career and has also had spells with Basingstoke Town and Tranmere Rovers.
Hateley, who can play at right-back or in midfield, has agreed a two-year deal with Paul Hartley's side ahead of Saturday's game against Kilmarnock at Dens Park.
