Heart of Midlothian have confirmed the departure of manager Robbie Neilson and his assistant Stevie Crawford to MK Dons.
Neilson had been in charge at Tynecastle since May 2014 - he guided the club to the Championship title then a third-place finish in the Ladbrokes Premiership last season.
Hearts are sitting second in the table as they prepare to face Ross County in Dingwall on Saturday and will now begin the formal process of recruiting a new head coach and No 2, with coaches Jon Daly and Andy Kirk taking the team for this weekend's match against the Staggies at the Global Energy Stadium.
A club statement read: "Ann Budge, the Board of Directors and everyone at Heart of Midlothian Football Club would like to sincerely thank Robbie and Stevie for the enormous part they have played in helping to re-establish the club in the upper echelons of Scottish football."
