Genero Zeefuik scored a debut double as Championship leaders Hearts beat Dumbarton 5-1 at the Bet Butler Stadium on Saturday.
The Dutch forward struck twice in the second half and Sam Nicholson also bagged a brace as Robbie Neilson's men stayed 13 points clear at the summit. Jamie Walker was also on target, with Chris Kane scoring for Dumbarton.
Second-placed Rangers defeated Alloa 1-0 at the Indodrill Stadium thanks to an early goal from midfielder Nicky Law.
Third-placed Hibernian and Falkirk, in fifth, drew 3-3 at Easter Road. Jason Cummings hit a first-half double for Hibs, either side of Luke Leahy's own goal, with John Baird netting for the Bairns. A Liam Craig own goal and Peter Grant levelled matters after the interval.
Bottom club Livingston drew 1-1 with Cowdenbeath at the Energy Assets Arena, where Danny Mullen's early opener was cancelled out by a Simon Mensing own goal.
The match between Raith Rovers and Queen of the South was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch at Stark's Park.
