All the goals came in the second half, with Osman Sow, Danny Wilson and a Billy King double sealing an emphatic victory for Robbie Neilson's men.

Hibernian strengthened their grip on second place with a 2-0 win away to Cowdenbeath, Fraser Fyvie and Jason Cummings on target before the break.

Rangers were held to a 1-1 draw by bottom club Livingston at Ibrox. Haris Vuckic gave Stuart McCall's men an early lead but Ibra Sekajja equalised right on half-time.

Queen of the South stay fourth thanks to a 2-1 home win over Raith Rovers. Iain Russell opened the scoring and Gavin Reilly got the winner after Lewis Vaughan had equalised.

Falkirk remain just a point outside the play-offs after beating Alloa 3-1 at the Indodrill Stadium in the evening game. Luke Leahy's opener was cancelled out by Kevin Cawley but John Baird and Alex Cooper won it for Peter Houston's team.
