Hearts have the chance to move 12 points clear in the Championship when they face Cowdenbeath at Central Park on Tuesday, kick-off 7.45pm.
The game was due to be played on Saturday December 13 but was postponed due to a frozen pitch and was quickly rearranged at the request of the clubs.
Robbie Neilson's men were 5-1 winners when the sides met at Tynecastle in September and they are still unbeaten in the league this season, having defeated Alloa 2-0 at the weekend.
Cowdenbeath earned an impressive 2-1 victory at Queen of the South to move out of the bottom two and another win would take Jimmy Nicholl's men to within a point of Fife rivals Raith Rovers.
The clubs last met at Central Park on league business in 1970/71 when Hearts claimed a 4-0 victory in a season the Blue Brazil were relegated from the top flight.
