Kane Hemmings grabbed a double as Dundee beat St Johnstone 2-0 in the Tayside derby at Dens Park on Friday night.
The former Barnsley striker opened the scoring from close range midway through the first half and lashed home the second goal six minutes after the break.
The win sees Paul Hartley's men leapfrog Saints and climb to fifth place in the Ladbrokes Premiership table, level on points with Ross County.
