Hibernian are through to the final of the Scottish League Cup, presented by Utilita, after beating St Johnstone 2-1 at Tynecastle on Saturday afternoon.

Jason Cummings gave Alan Stubbs’ side the lead with a 29th-minute penalty after Liam Henderson had been impeded by Chris Millar but Tommy Wright's men equalised four minutes later thanks to a fine header from Joe Shaughnessy.

Man of the match John McGinn scored the winner with a terrific low shot beyond Alan Mannus 14 minutes from the end of a compelling contest.

Hibs will face either Ross County or Celtic - who play tomorrow - in the final on Sunday March 13 as they bid to get their hands on the trophy for the fourth time.
