Hibs end Raith run, Falkirk hit five

First-half goals from John McGinn and Jason Cummings did the damage before Jon Daly pulled one back for a Rovers side who had won all five of their previous home league games.

Falkirk are up to third place after thrashing Dumbarton 5-0 at the Cheaper Insurance Direct Stadium. John Baird hit a hat-trick and Bob McHugh and Blair Alston were also on target.

Livingston moved off the bottom of the table with an impressive 4-1 win away to Queen of the South. Dale Hilson had Queens ahead at the break but goals from Scott Pittman and Jordan White turned things round and a Liam Buchanan double sealed the victory.

Morton overcame Alloa 1-0 at Cappielow thanks to a 55th-minute Ross Forbes goal and the Wasps slip to the foot of the table as a result.

St Mirren host Rangers on Sunday, live on BT Sport at 12.30pm.
