Inverness CT are preparing for their first ever game in European competition against FC Astra of Romania in the Europa League second qualifying round.
John Hughes' team won the Scottish Cup and also finished third in the Premiership and the stage is now set for a big night in the Highland capital.
New signings Nat Wedderburn, Dani Lopez and Jordan Roberts could all make their debuts and Brian Rice has joined as assistant manager after the recent departure of Russell Latapy.
Astra finished fourth in Romania last season, when they also took on Celtic in the group stages of the Europa League – drawing at home and losing narrowly at Parkhead.
Hughes said: "It's historic for us and hopefully we can go and perform. I've just got a feeling that our style of play might suit Europe. They're a good side and we respect them but we are capable of beating them."
On his new assistant, who had been coaching in Qatar, Hughes added: "This is the third time Brian and I have linked up, as he was my assistant at Falkirk and Hibernian, so I have a full insight into the quality of his coaching and I’m delighted he has agreed to join us."
