Hearts have signed former Motherwell goalkeeper Lee Hollis on a short-term deal.
No 1 Neil Alexander suffered a fractured cheekbone in last week's 2-1 win over Rangers at Ibrox and Scott Gallacher picked up a knock in training today.
Gallacher remains hopeful of facing Hibernian in Sunday's Edinburgh derby but Hollis has been brought in as cover and Jack Hamilton has returned from a loan spell at Stenhousemuir.
