Partick Thistle boss Alan Archibald was delighted to see his side earn their first home win in the Scottish Premiership when they beat Aberdeen 3-1 at Firhill on Saturday.
On-loan Lyle Taylor grabbed a double and Conrad Balatoni was also on target for the Jags, who are now out of the bottom two.
Archibald said: "We showed great character in the second half after a first half when we appeared nervous and were not passing the ball well.
"We've got to go on from this and continue to show more belief and character. It's a big lift for us that we have also moved up a place in the league table."
