Raith Rovers moved into the top four in the Ladbrokes Championship with a 1-1 draw against Queen of the South at Palmerston on Friday night.

The visitors took the lead midway through the first half when keeper Robbie Thomson could only help a Lewis Toshney cross into his own net.

James Fowler's side hit back early in the second period when Iain Russell scored from close range after being teed up by Alex Harris.

QOS looked the more likely team to go on and win it but Ray McKinnon's men held on as they drew their third Championship match on the trot.
