Inverness CT boss John Hughes has signed striker Andrea Mbuyi-Mutombo ahead of Saturday's Ladbrokes Premiership opener at home to Motherwell.
The 25-year-old has been capped by DR Congo and joins from Frejus Saint-Raphael in the third tier of French football, having previously played in Belgium and Croatia.
Hughes told the club website: "Andrea came across on trial a couple of weeks ago and we've been very impressed with him in both training and the trial game he played against Nairn.
"He is still slightly off it in fitness terms but that will come with games. He can play in all positions across the front - either on the wing, behind the first striker or as that first striker - and we are looking for a big contribution from him this season."
