Partick Thistle boss Alan Archibald has signed former Reading midfielder Ryan Edwards on a deal until the end of the season.
The 21-year-old, who has been capped by Australia at U23 level, spent the 2013/14 season on loan at Perth Glory. He left Reading in the summer and joins the Jags ahead of Saturday's Ladbrokes Premiership game against Motherwell at Fir Park.
Meanwhile, 18-year-old striker Kevin Nisbet, who made his first-team debut in Saturday’s 1-0 defeat to Ross County in Dingwall, has signed a contract extension until 2018.
