Hibernian have signed striker James Keatings on a two-year deal after his recent departure from city rivals Hearts.
The 23-year-old former Celtic and Hamilton Accies forward is hoping to make a big impact at Easter Road and told the club website: "I’m delighted to sign and I definitely believe Hibs can go up as champions.
"I had other options to play in the Premiership but one of the big factors that persuaded me to come here was the manager and I believe he can make me become a much better player.”
Hibs boss Alan Stubbs added: "His goalscoring record speaks for itself – he’s got a good habit of being in the right place at the right time. We want competition for places and we want to score lots of goals. We’re delighted to sign James and by the fact he wanted to come here."
Meanwhile, former Aberdeen and Wigan Athletic midfielder Fraser Fyvie has signed a new two-year deal at Easter Road, having joined on a short-term contract in January.
