Falkirk defender Stephen Kingsley has moved to Premiership side Swansea City on a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee.

The teenager, who joined the Falkirk Academy at the age of 10, has made more than 100 appearances for the Bairns despite not turning 20 until later this month.

Manager Peter Houston told the club website: "I saw Stephen on quite a few occasions last season and he is a very talented footballer. Whilst I’m sad to see him leave, it is a wonderful opportunity for Stephen to progress his career at a top English Premiership club. We all wish him the best of luck.”
