Draw for East Fife, Livingston hit five

The visitors twice hit back through Calum Ferguson and Ryan Wallace after Kevin Smith and Jason Kerr goal had put the Methil men in front.
 
Title favourites Alloa began with an impressive 4-0 home win over Peterhead. Jordan Kirkpatrick grabbed a double and Kevin Cawley and Isaac Layne were also on target.
 
Livingston are the week one leaders after seeing off Stranraer 5-1 at the Tony Macaroni Arena. Scott Pittman and Liam Buchanan, one a penalty, both netted twice, with Danny Mullen getting the other goal. Craig Malcolm was the Stranraer scorer.
 
Airdrieonians enjoyed a 3-1 win over Queen's Park at Hampden, with goals from Iain Russell (penalty), Marc Fitzpatrick and Adam Brown. The Spiders' consolation came from a Fitzpatrick own goal.
 
Brechin City beat Stenhousemuir 2-1 at Glebe Park, with Alan Trouten and Ross Caldwell netting either side of a Fraser Kerr goal.
