Dundee hit back from two goals down to beat Hearts 3-2 at Dens Park on Friday night to climb to seventh in the Ladbrokes Premiership table.
The Dee were bottom of the table at one point as they trailed to goals from Jamie Walker (penalty) and Callum Paterson but Darren O'Dea pulled one back, Paul McGowan equalised and Marcus Haber grabbed a stoppage-time winner.
Third-placed Aberdeen saw off Motherwell 3-1 at Fir Park with goals from Graeme Shinnie, Adam Rooney and Niall McGinn. Scott McDonald's spectacular effort had Well level for a time and they also missed a penalty.
St Johnstone won 1-0 away to Kilmarnock - Murray Davidson was the matchwinner and Killie had Luke Hendrie sent off in stoppage time.
Partick Thistle were 3-1 winners against Ross County in Dingwall to move off the foot of the table. Liam Lindsay, Kris Doolan and Chris Erskine all scored in the second half before Liam Boyce reduced the deficit.
