Rangers moved 20 points clear at the top of Scottish League 1 with a 2-0 win over Forfar Athletic at Station Park on Monday night.
Ally McCoist's men were pushed hard by Dick Campbell’s team but made the breakthrough with 15 minutes left when Bilel Mohsni headed a Fraser Aird corner past Rab Douglas.
Forfar, who beat Rangers in the League Cup back in August, were denied an equaliser when Steve Simonsen made an outstanding save and substitute David Templeton added a second goal for the visitors in the final minute.
