Graham Carey scored a late winner as Ross County beat St Johnstone 1-0 at the Global Energy Stadium to move above Partick Thistle and out of the bottom two in the Scottish Premiership.
An away win would have lifted Saints back into the top six but Carey pounced with two minutes left as Derek Adams' men followed up their New Year's Day victory at Inverness with another precious three points.
Motherwell's Fir Park encounter with Caley Thistle was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch and the remaining four matches will be played on Sunday.
