Steven Lawless scored a stoppage-time winner as Partick Thistle beat Motherwell 1-0 at Firhill on Tuesday night.
Chances were at a premium in a hard-fought game but the Jags won it when Lawless saw his deflected effort find the net.
The victory lifts Alan Archibald's men above Mark McGhee's team and to within two points of the top six in the Ladbrokes Premiership.
