Second-placed Peterhead continued their great run with a 3-2 win away to Cowdenbeath. Declan McDaid and Jack Beaumont replied to goals from Ryan Strachan and Leighton McIntosh but Jamie Redman clinched it for the Blue Toon.

Ayr United strengthened their grip on third spot by beating Forfar Athletic 2-1 at Somerset Park. Ryan Stevenson bagged a double, with Andy Ryan scoring for the visitors.

Airdrieonians stay fourth after a 1-1 draw against Stranraer at the Excelsior Stadium. Mark McGuigan gave the Blues the lead on the hour mark but Liam Watt soon equalised.

The match between Albion Rovers and Stenhousemuir was postponed.
