Rangers will clinch the League 1 title if they beat Airdrie at Ibrox on Wednesday after second-placed Dunfermline were held to a 0-0 draw by Stenhousemuir at East End Park.

Ayr United strengthened their grip on fourth spot with a 5-0 victory over Stranraer - who had Frank McKeown sent off - at Somerset Park. A Michael Moffat double, one from the penalty spot, and goals from Craig Malcolm, Michael Donald and Alan Forrest ensured an emphatic win for Mark Roberts' men.

Bottom club Arbroath moved to within a point of East Fife with a vital 2-1 victory at Gayfield. Liam Buchanan gave the visitors the lead but Michael Travis equalised and Paul McManus got the winner with 13 minutes left.

Forfar remain a point ahead of local rivals Brechin after a 1-1 draw at Station Park. Dale Hilson opened the scoring but Andy Jackson hit back for City.
