League 2 - Elgin increase their lead

Jim Weir's Elgin City moved four points clear at the top of Ladbrokes League 2 with a 3-2 win over Arbroath at Gayfield on Saturday.

Connor McLaren's opener was overturned by goals from Greg Rutherford and Darren Ramsay but Craig Gunn equalised from the spot and Dylan Easton got the winner with 13 minutes left.

East Fife are up to fifth in the table thanks to a 1-0 home victory over Berwick Rangers - Nathan Austin got the only goal just after the break.

Montrose hit back to end their poor recent run with a 3-2 win against East Stirlingshire at Links Park. Kris Faulds and Thomas Orr had Shire two goals ahead at the break but Graham Webster, Greg Pascazio and Aaron Comrie all scored in the second half.
