It was a good day for the home teams in League 2, with all five winning.

It was a good day for the home teams in League 2, with all five winning.

Leaders Arbroath held off a late Annan fightback to win 3-2 at Gayfield. Bobby Linn, Jack Smith and Dylan Carreiro struck before Ryan McStay and Scott Davidson replied for the visitors.

Second-placed Queen's Park saw off East Stirlingshire 3-0 at the Excelsior Stadium with goals from Bryan Wharton, John Carter and Darren Miller.

Albion Rovers stay third after beating bottom club Elgin City 3-0 at Cliftonhill. Scott Chaplain claimed a double and Marc McKenzie rounded things off.

East Fife, in fourth, ran out 3-0 winners against Montrose at Bayview with goals from Ross Campbell, Kevin Smith and Jon McShane (penalty).

Berwick are fifth after beating Clyde 4-0 at Shielfield. Andy Russell, Lee Currie, Paul Willis and Ross Gray were on target against the Bully Wee, who had Ciaran McBrearty sent off.
