Jordon Brown opened the scoring, Jordan Tapping's own goal doubled their lead and Rory McAllister converted a penalty in first-half stoppage time. Andy Rodgers added the fourth goal early in the second period.

Second-placed Annan also racked up a 4-0 home win as Berwick's play-off hopes took a knock. Ally Love's penalty broke the deadlock, Kenny MacKay netted twice and Peter Watson claimed a late fourth.

Clyde are up to third place after beating Elgin City 4-0 at Broadwood. Michael Daly scored twice and there were also goals for Scott Ferguson and substitute Gordon Young.

Montrose leapfrogged Albion Rovers thanks to a 2-1 win at Links Park. Gary Phillips gave Rovers the lead early in the second half but within five minutes Scott Johnston and Terry Masson had scored for Stuart Garden's team.

Stirling Albion hit back to draw 2-2 with bottom club Queen's Park at Forthbank. Blair Spittal and Gavin Mitchell struck for the Spiders but a Scott Gibson own goal reduced the deficit and Craig Comrie equalised with a 40-yard free-kick.
