League 2 champions Peterhead beat Albion Rovers 2-0 at Balmoor on Saturday.
Top scorer Rory McAllister got both goals, the first from the penalty spot, after Rovers keeper Neil Parry had been sent off.
Second-placed Annan were held to a 1-1 draw by bottom club Queen's Park at Galabank. Andy Mitchell opened the scoring from the penalty spot but Eamonn Brophy equalised five minutes later.
Clyde are back up to third spot after defeating Montrose 2-0 at Links Park. Michael Daly and Stefan McCluskey (penalty) scored in the first half.
Stirling Albion slipped to fourth place following a 2-2 home draw with Elgin. The Binos missed two penalties but hit back through Jordan White and Craig Comrie after Shane Sutherland and Craig Gunn twice had the visitors in front.
Berwick Rangers are only three points back in fifth following a 1-0 victory over East Stirlingshire at Shielfield. Andy Russell was the matchwinner just before half-time.
