Albion Rovers are closing in on the League 2 title after beating Berwick Rangers 2-0 at Cliftonhill on Saturday.

Second-half goals from Chris Cadden and Mark McGuigan saw Darren Young's team move eight points clear with four games remaining.

Second-placed Queen's Park were held to a 2-2 draw at bottom club Montrose, who are now on the brink of facing a play-off against Brora Rangers or Edinburgh City to retain their SPFL status.

Garry Wood earned Montrose a point after Paul Watson's opener had been overturned by an Andrew Steeves own goal and a Shaun Rooney effort.

Third-placed Arbroath drew 1-1 with Annan at Gayfield. Kenny MacKay gave the visitors the lead but Simon Murray equalised midway through the second half.

Elgin City and East Stirlingshire are both two points outside the top four following a goalless draw at Borough Briggs.

Scott McManus got the only goal with 20 minutes left as Clyde dented East Fife's play-off hopes with a 1-0 win at Broadwood to move to within four points of the fourth-placed Methil club.
