Livingston beat Dundee United 3-2 in the first leg of a thrilling Ladbrokes Premiership play-off semi-final at Tannadice on Monday.
Raffaele De Vita fired David Hopkin's men ahead inside two minutes but Thomas Mikkelsen equalised almost immediately for Csaba Laszlo's side.
Anthony Ralston's deflected effort after 28 minutes gave United the advantage but two goals in the space of three second-half minutes from Josh Mullin and Scott Pittman turned the tie on its head before the home side had Willo Flood sent off for a second yellow card late on.
The second leg takes place at the Tony Macaroni Arena this Friday, live on BT Sport with a 7.45pm kick-off.
