Stranraer have announced that experienced defender Lee Mair has joined the club in a player/assistant manager role.
The 34-year-old former Dundee, Stockport, Dundee United, Aberdeen, St Mirren and Partick Thistle player was most recently with Dumbarton.
Mair will be No 2 to new Stair Park boss Brian Reid and will also have an important role to play on the pitch as the Blues seek to mount a League 1 promotion push for the third year running.
He told the Stranraer website: “I can't wait to get going and have already started making contact with a few people that I know within the game, both in the playing and coaching capacity, to add to the options Brian and I will have in putting next season’s squad together.”
