Hibernian striker Dominique Malonga has been named in the Congo squad for their forthcoming African Nations Cup qualifiers.

The 25-year-old, signed from Italian side Cesena in early September, has been included for the games against Nigeria and Sudan later this month.

Malonga, who scored in the recent matches against Hearts and Dundee United, will miss Hibs' Championship game against Queen of the South at Easter Road on November 15.

Boss Alan Stubbs said: "To have someone given a full international call-up, having only been here for six to eight weeks, is all credit to the club - it's something we should be proud of."
