An incredible five-goal haul from Rory McAllister saw Peterhead win 5-3 against Falkirk in the second round of the Petrofac Training Cup.
The Bairns appeared to be heading to victory when David Smith and Paul Watson scored inside 20 minutes but McAllister then took centre stage with a first-half hat-trick at the Falkirk Stadium.
Alex Cooper hauled Peter Houston’s men level but McAllister scored his fourth with a stunning effort from long range and converted a penalty with three minutes left to seal a place in Thursday afternoon's quarter-final draw for Jim McInally's team.
St Mirren came from behind to beat Annan Athletic 2-1 at Galabank, where the home side took the lead through Peter Weatherson's first-minute penalty. Jordan Stewart equalised early in the second half and Alan Gow got the winner for Ian Murray's men.
Dunfermline continued their excellent start to 2015/16 by beating Forfar 3-0 at Station Park. The hosts had Kevin Nicoll sent off after 31 minutes and the Pars took full advantage - Michael Moffat bagged a double - one a penalty - and Faissal El Bakhtaoui was also on target.
Second-half goals from Alan Cook and Stephen Stirling earned Stenhousemuir a 2-0 victory over Raith Rovers at Ochilview. The visitors had Jason Thomson sent off in stoppage time.
Substitute Joe Bradley scored an extra-time winner as Queen's Park shocked Dumbarton 1-0 at Hampden. The Sons had a chance to progress in the last minute of normal time but Garry Fleming missed his penalty and the Spiders made them pay.
Jordan White scored deep into extra time as holders Livingston beat Queen of the South 1-0 at Palmerston, just three days after losing to the Dumfries side in the Ladbrokes Championship.
