Brechin City boss Ray McKinnon will look to tie midfielder Ryan Ferguson to the club on a permanent basis after he played as a trialist in Saturday’s 3-1 win over Ayr United at Somerset Park.
The 20 year old, who was released by Dundee United at the end of last week, had a three month loan spell at Glebe Park last season and spent the first half of this season at Dunfermline with McKinnon delighted at getting a second chance with Ferguson.
The Brechin boss said: “Ryan is a player I know well and whilst we could not sign him in time to face Ayr we were able to play him as a trialist. Hopefully we can now get him added this week to our pool.”
