Montrose boss Paul Hegarty has brought in Ryan Kenneth from Dundee Amateur side St James ahead of the new season.
His arrival follows the signing earlier this week of Greg Cameron from Brechin City and Andrew Steeves from Forfar Athletic, with both players having been on loan at Links Park during 2014/15.
Hegarty told the club website: "Ryan can play left-back or wide left and has a good engine on him. This maybe sends out a message to people to look at the bigger picture and other leagues. He is keen as mustard and chuffed to bits about joining us."
Meanwhile, Terry Masson and fellow midfielder Paul Watson have agreed terms for the forthcoming campaign.
