The search for a new manager at Montrose has started, with chairman Derek Sim looking to get the new boss installed as quickly as possible.
George Shields resigned in the wake of Saturday’s 3-0 home defeat to East Fife, which left the Links Park side second from bottom in League 2.
Assistant Lee Wilkie and goalkeeping coach John McCafferty are in charge for this weekend’s trip to Elgin but Sim said: "We are looking to get someone in by next week at the latest."
