Montrose face a huge game at Links Park on Saturday as they bid to retain their SPFL status against Brora Rangers.
Paul Hegarty's side trail 1-0 from the first leg at Dudgeon Park last weekend, when an own goal from veteran defender Marvin Andrews separated the sides.
The League 2 club will now attempt to overturn the deficit against the Highland League champions, who beat Lowland League winners Edinburgh City on penalties to reach this stage.
Montrose manager Hegarty said: "We have to play better as there is so much depending on it. Less than half the team got pass marks for last weekend and we need everyone at their best to see off Brora.
“Our opponents have very experienced defenders and we have to find a way of scoring at least once to have any chance of recovering the situation. We had a good run of form towards the end of the league season and we need to hit that form again.”
Brora boss Davie Kirkwood said: “We can go and enjoy the game as there is very little pressure on us. Potentially losing their league status means all the pressure is on Montrose and they have to come out and chase the game at some stage.
“We have good defenders and good strikers so we will stick to our normal game and hopefully that will be enough to create a special piece of history.”
